5 ways to exercise from home

One of the benefits that you have when training at home is that you have more time to exercise with the music or programs that you like the most.

You must be very disciplined and have a fixed schedule to exercise.

There are many workouts that you can do without any type of training equipment, here are some options to keep you in shape:

  • Stretching. Before starting any physical activity, it is very important that you warm up to avoid injuries:
    1. Circle your head 8 times to the right and 8 times to the left.
    2. Circle each ankle 8 times to the right and 8 to the left. Switch feet.
    3. Circle your shoulders 8 counts forward and 8 counts back.
    4. Make circles with the hip, 8 counts to the right and 8, to the left.
    5. Circle your wrists 8 times to the right and 8 times to the left.
  • Jumping jacks. This is a good cardiovascular exercise to start your routine:
    1. Separate the legs at shoulder height.
    2. Jump with your arms up and land with your legs apart.
    3. Do 3 sets with 15 repetitions each.
  • Mountain Climbers. Tone legs and abdomen with this exercise:
    1. Get into a high push-up position, palms on the floor with legs fully extended, the starting position for push-ups.
    2. Bring the right knee up to the chest, keeping the other leg straight and the abdomen hard. Change position.
    3. Do 3 sets with 15 repetitions each.
  • squats. A classic but effective exercise.
    1. Open your legs shoulder-width apart and point your feet forward, lower your back down straight. The knees must not exceed the tips of the feet and the heels must be fixed to the floor.
    2. Do 3 sets with 15 repetitions each.
  • Irons. Although it seems simple, this exercise involves the strength and resistance of most of your muscles.
    1. Lie on your stomach, support yourself on your forearms and toes and the rest of your body should be in a completely straight position.
    2. Do 3 sets lasting 25 seconds to 1 minute.
